I have been apart of the fourth grade team at Stratford Academy for six years.   I received my undergraduate from Central Connecticut State University in Business Management.  Shortly after graduating I started a family, and stayed home with my three children until my youngest child entered kindergarten.  At this point, I took a job as a paraprofessional in my children's school assisting teachers with math instruction.  I soon caught the teaching bug, and returned to college to obtain a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport.  In 2004, I taught in my first classroom as a third grade teacher.     
  
Since I have joined the staff here at Stratford Academy, I must say it has been very rewarding, and I attribute this to the wonderful children, their parents, and the supportive and dedicated staff.
