Hello! My name is Mrs. Kathleen Raspet.  I have been teaching in the Stratford Public Schools since 1985.  I have been at Stratford Academy since 1990 as Library/Media Specialist at Johnson House in the Library/Media Center.  I enjoy teaching and working with the children, teachers, staff, and parents in our  school community. I have been active in Writer's Workshop, technology, and media.  My interests and hobbies are photography, nature and bird photography, art, handy crafts and scrapbooking, and travel.
 
I received my Bachelor of Science and Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University in the areas of  library science, education, and art/art history.  I received my Masters of Library Science from Western Michigan University in library, education and technology.  I continue to take classes to continually up-date my knowledge in many areas of the education field.
